We need a "How To" on using RSS in web sites

Though perhaps not part of the spec, I'd like to see more info (or easier to find info) on how to use the results of the spec (the rss files) to display the contents of RSS files within web pages. Two big questions I have:

How do you get RSS content to appear in a web page.
How do you customize the appearance (e.g. width, background color, etc)
