It's working now. There was a display issue that caused the incoming pings not to show up, even though they were properly received.

I've tried pinging, but I keep getting this error:
"Sorry! There was an error: Can't find a sub-table named "pt""
I've successfully pinged other sites, so is this an error at your side? Of should I check my code?

Breuls, what software are you using to ping? Are you pinging manually? I'd like to try to reproduce the error from here.

Well it's some PHP work of my own. I've used the spec from MT to build it, and several MT and homemade blogs have received my pings correctly so far.
I use a socket, make a POST and send the postdata with it. If it's useful, I can send you the code...

Thanks, Breuls. What would be more useful is if you could send me a copy of the data that you send on the wire, and the URL you POSTed to. That way I can simulate your ping, and hopefully figure out the problem.

Jake & Dave: I had no problem pinging from JournURL, although in case no one has noticed, all the pings are showing up with the same date and time stamps. I thought there was something wrong on my end for a minute there, until I noticed *everyone* was apparently pinging from 3:42am on 5/3.

Seems to work well enough from Amphetadesk too, though I haven't got trackback, as I haven't got blogging software. But I can see them show up.

worked smoothly from my Radio weblog except that I got a 500 server error about a pagetable - the post upstreamed correctly anyway and Radio is happy here on my laptop - might have been a transient/unrelated error
