That's just the way it worked out. Mark Nottingham started the list, and once started, I didn't want to be a stinker and say it wasn't good enough; presumably other people felt the same way. eGroups runs good lists, they're fast, and because no one owns them, flames go nowhere. Practical suggestion, if you don't want them to have personal info about you, lie on the form.
