If you are subscribed to RSS list (run by Meerkat's Rael Dornfest) see discussion "Introduction and a few ideas" - it was about extending current RSSX draft to provide ways to specify alternate content, e.g.:

 <link>http://news/article.html </link>
 <alt-link dc:format="text/vnd.wap.wml">http://news/article.wml </alt-link>
 <alt-link dc:description="Discussion">http://news/article_forum.html </alt-link>

etc.
